Ankara:An Israeli soldier was killed, and three others were injured in southern Lebanon as tensions continue to rise. The incident occurred amidst ongoing Israeli military actions in the region.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli army confirmed the casualties and stated that the injured soldiers were transported to a hospital for treatment.

Since March 2, Israeli military operations have resulted in over 4,380 deaths and more than 12,410 injuries, as reported by Lebanese authorities. Despite a US-sponsored framework agreement signed on June 26 between Beirut and Tel Aviv, which outlined a phased Israeli withdrawal and the deployment of the Lebanese army in vacated areas, Israel has persisted with its military actions.

The framework agreement intended to facilitate peace and stability has yet to be fully implemented, as Israel maintains control over certain Lebanese territories, including areas occupied for decades and those seized in more recent conflicts.
