Israeli security cabinet approves major aerial bombardment on Gaza
The Israeli security cabinet has approved a massive aerial bombardment on Gaza, Israeli media reported on Monday. According to Yedioth Ahronoth daily, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz has also declared a state of emergency in the area up to 80 kilometers (50 miles) around the Gaza Strip. This gives the Israeli forces the authority to impose restrictions on gatherings and evacuate residents from the mentioned area. 14 Palestinians injured, 4 hospitalized in clashes in East Jerusalem
At least 14 Palestinians were injured late Sunday in clashes with Israeli police in East Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent. Trkey reports over 13,600 new COVID-19 cases
The downward trend in the number of daily cases in Turkey continued on Monday as the country reported over 13,600 new coronavirus cases, according to the Health Ministry data. A total of 13,604 cases, including 1,734 symptomatic patients, were confirmed across the country, the data showed. Gunmen kill 11 villagers in northern Nigeria
Eleven villagers were killed on Sunday in an armed attack in Nigeria’s northern Katsina state, according to police.
