Trkiye’s Sectoral Confidence Shows Varied Trends in November.

Ankara: Trkiye's sectoral confidence was mixed in November, as retail trade and construction sector confidence improved, while services sector confidence fell, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat). According to Anadolu Agency, the sub-index for the services sector decreased by 2.9% on a monthly basis to 111 in November. The data suggests a decline in optimism within the services sector compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, the retail trade and construction sector confidence indices experienced growth. The retail trade sector index rose by 0.9% to 111.7, indicating a positive sentiment in the sector. Similarly, the construction sector saw a 1.7% increase in its index, reaching 87.8, reflecting a more optimistic outlook compared to the previous period. These indices are calculated from a monthly survey, and results are evaluated within a range of 0-200. A sectoral confidence index above 100 signals an optimistic outlook, while a score below 100 indicates a pessimistic outlook.
