T¼rkiye and France Agree on Defense Cooperation Road Map

Accra:A defense cooperation road map has been signed between T¼rkiye and France, marking a significant milestone in their military partnership, according to the Turkish National Defense Ministry.

According to Anadolu Agency, the ministry announced on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal that the road map resulted from meetings between T¼rkiye's Director General for Defense and Security Lt. Gen. Ilkay Altindag and several French officials, including Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Armed Forces Alice Rufo, the French president's Military Chief of Staff Gen. Vincent Giraud, and Director General for International Relations and Strategy Guillaume Ollagnier.

These meetings focused on enhancing bilateral defense and military relations, engaging in strategic dialogue, and identifying opportunities for further cooperation. The discussions emphasized the importance of maintaining regular, results-oriented communication to foster these developments.

The defense cooperation road map reflects the positive messages exchanged by the leaders of both countries, indicating a commitment to transforming these into concrete measures of collaboration in defense. The road map is designed to bolster strategic dialogue and advance cooperation for the mutual benefit of T¼rkiye and France.
