Spain: Spain's Health Ministry, in collaboration with the health departments of the country's 17 autonomous regional governments, has officially approved a comprehensive protocol aimed at combating influenza, COVID-19, and other respiratory illnesses.
According to Anadolu Agency, Health Minister Monica Garcia announced the approval of the Common Protocol on the social media platform X. The protocol encompasses several preventive measures, including teleworking, the use of masks, vaccination, and enhanced ventilation, in efforts to curb the spread of these diseases.
Garcia emphasized the life-saving potential of teleworking and the use of masks, especially in healthcare settings. "We approved, together with all the autonomous communities, a Common Protocol against flu, COVID, and other respiratory infections," she stated, highlighting the collaborative effort involved in the protocol's development. "We said it was necessary and possible. And we have achieved it," Garcia added, marking a significant step in Spain's public health strategy.
