Pakistan Denies Involvement in Strikes Against Houthi Targets

Islamabad:Pakistan has firmly rejected claims that its fighter jets are conducting strikes against Houthi targets.

According to Anadolu Agency, the denial follows a report by The New York Times, which alleged that Pakistan Air Force jets were involved in attacks against the Houthis. This report cited an anonymous senior Pakistani military official as the source.

The Pakistani Ministry of Information and Broadcasting issued a statement on the social media platform X, declaring the report as "fake and fabricated." The ministry also urged international media outlets to refrain from speculative reporting concerning the deployment of Pakistan's military forces under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement. It further stated that any necessary information regarding military employment would be provided by the relevant authorities.
